LiveSub

Real-Time Subtitle Translation System

Note: LiveSub requires an active internet connection. It is designed for sentence-based subtitles, not word-by-word translation. The system works using real-time OCR and translation. You select a screen region, LiveSub scans it, extracts text, translates it, and displays the result. Performance may vary on noisy or complex subtitle backgrounds. Some games may restrict overlay features while running in fullscreen mode. For the best experience, we recommend running your games in windowed or borderless windowed mode.
Step 1 — Select Target Language

Choose the language you want your subtitles to be translated into.

Step 2 — Select Translator Engine

Choose the translation engine:

If you select DeepL, you must obtain an API key from https://www.deepl.com/ and enter it in the API field. If you choose LS Translate, you can leave the API field empty.

Step 3 — Select Font Size

Enter the font size for the translated subtitles and click the Start button.

Step 4 — Scan Window

Adjust the Scan Window to fully cover your subtitles. Once you are done, click the Next button.
